Nebraska Science Festival
The Nebraska Science Festival began in 2013 as an initiative of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, which continues to administer the festival with the assistance of a number of organizations and individuals interested in the advancement of science literacy.
The Science Festival is designed to make science accessible, interactive, relevant and fun for kids and adults alike.
Planning already is underway for the 2024 Festival, which will run April 1-30.

2023 Papillion & La Vista Fall Cleanup Days
Papillion & La Vista Fall Cleanup Days are October 16 - 22, 2023, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The event will again be a joint effort between the City of Papillion and City of La Vista. The Cleanup Days site is located at 99th Circle and Portal Road on the south side of Portal Road, just east of the Papillion Public Works Facility.
The event is open to Papillion residents, Papillion water customers and La Vista residents. Cleanup Days are a great opportunity for residents to dump old furniture, appliances, electronics, and yard waste free of charge. See below for details on what can and can't be dumped during the event.

World O! Water Omaha
World O! Water is a fun, annual event for all ages to learn about the important role water plays in our lives and community. Everyone is welcome to this free event including families, youth or scout troops, school classes, and even your dog!
